Here is your chance to find that perfect holiday gift while supporting local businesses at the same time.
Excellence NB, a non-profit organization in the province, has released its third annual holiday gift guide.
Executive director Carol Holmes said this year’s guide features more than 200 New Brunswick-made products.
“There’s a variety of products at various price ranges to match every budget,” Holmes said in an interview.
“We cover categories such as bath and beauty, ideas for homes, food and beverage ideas, and jewellery and apparel.”
Holmes said the guide was launched as a pilot project in its first year and had close to 70 products advertised.
She said the guide was made to help support local businesses during a very important time of the year.
“For many of them, 30 to 40 per cent of their revenue is made in the next few months,” she said. “Supporting them during this difficult time is more than important than ever. They’re the backbone of our economy.”
All of the businesses featured in the catalogue offer online ordering and shipping to your door. There is also the option to pick up the products in person, Holmes said.
