Family Of Missing Man Continues Search

The family of a missing Saint John man is offering a reward looking for information about where he might be.

Kyle Leblanc, 31, was last seen in uptown Saint John two weeks ago in late December.

Rick Leblanc, Kyle’s father, said his son was without a home and staying with friends at the time he went missing.

On Tuesday, a group of friends and family held an organized search in uptown Saint John.

“30-plus people that just went and canvassed through neighbourhoods, hung flyers, went to stores, local businesses, everything we could find that would allow us to hang these flyers up which actually uncovered some more information which we turned over to the police and in doing that we have offered a reward,” Leblanc said.

A reward of $2,000 is being offered for information that leads to locating Kyle.

Leblanc said his son has addiction issues and they have struggled to find help for him.

“He seems to be falling through the cracks of these different organizations, so we’re struggling with that,” Leblanc said.

Leblanc encouraged anyone with information about where his son might be to contact the Major Crime Unit of the Saint John Police Force at (506) 648-3333.
