The latest polling done by Nanos Research is showing the federal Conservatives gaining on the Liberals. The gap has been reduced to seven points.
The Liberals are at 39.1 per cent in voter support while the Conservatives are at 32.1 percent. The NDP is back at 16.3 per cent with the Green Party at 5.5 per cent and the Bloc Quebecois at 5.1 per cent.
Prime Minister Trudeau is well ahead as the preferred leader with 64 per cent of those people who took part believing he has the qualities of a good political leader.
