There’s good news for motorists who need to fill up this morning.
Prices are down 6.2 cents a litre after the weekly provincial adjustment.
Senior petroleum analyst with Gasbuddy.com Dan McTeague says New Brunswick is still playing catch-up with the rest of the country due to regulated prices.
His says for the provincial governments in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia it’s an idea whose time has passed which is not going to help consumers in any way like what’s happening in the rest of the country.
We saw dips of 4 cents a litre for diesel and furnace oil and propane increased by point one cent
In Saint John, diesel is selling for 101.3 a litre and regular self-serve is going for 104.9 a litre at some pumps this morning.
