A family of four has been forced from their home after an overnight fire east of Fredericton.

The blaze broke out in a two-storey home on Logue Road in Minto shortly after midnight Tuesday night.

The woman and three children spent the night with a relative.

They expected to receive emergency help from the Canadian Red Cross, including emergency lodging, clothing, food and other essentials.

No injuries have been reported and there is no word yet on how the fire started.
