Fire In Tobique First Nation Leaves Family Displaced

Four adults have been left temporarily homeless after a fire on the Tobique First Nation.

The Canadian Red Cross says a home on Second Street was destroyed early Sunday morning.

A retired couple and their son and daughter received emergency supplies including food, clothing and other necessities.

The son was the only one home at the time. He was treated for smoke inhalation at a hospital in Perth-Andover.

The family is now staying with relatives.
