First Responders Deal With Several Crashes Wednesday

Wednesday was a busy day for emergency crews in Saint John who responded to at least five collisions in the city.

Roy Byers, acting platoon chief with the Saint John Fire Department, said there was a crash between a cyclist and a vehicle on the east side.

Byers said there were also two separate collisions between motorcycles and vehicles in the uptown area.

Emergency crews also responded to a two-vehicle crash in the north end and another on the east side.

Byers said no serious injuries were reported in any of the collisions.
