With word that SWN Resources has suspended activity in New Brunswick Interim Conservative Leader Bruce Fitch grilling Premier Brian Gallant in the Legislature on what the cost of that is to the province.
Fitch asking why doesn’t Gallant “man up” and admit their moratorium is driving investment and jobs out of the province.
Gallant responding to Fitch by saying there was actually a de facto moratorium on hydraulic fracturing in place during the previous government because of their rules on fracking wastewater management.
He also challenged the members of the opposition saying “we’re waiting to know which one of your ridings will take on the fracked wastewater.”
