The first section of the Gallant Government’s economic growth plan is released.
New Brunswick Economic Growth Plan
The plan is heavy on themes, but light on details.
The five main themes include growing the provincial workforce, increasing innovation and investing in infrastructure.
A highlighted priority is also for the government to become more responsive and nimble in handling requests and reducing red tape.
The plan is the result of the 22 Opportunity Summits held over the last year, according to Economic Development Minister Francine Landry.
She says the full plan will be released over the coming weeks.
