A 32-year-old Riverview man and former volunteer basketball coach is now facing additional child pornography-related charges.
Thirty-one new charges were laid against Shawn Nickerson yesterday during a brief court appearance.
At least 21 alleged victims have been identified so far, in alleged incidents that took place between 2016 and October last year.
In November, 30 charges including possession of and making child pornography were laid against Nickerson.
In a news release, RCMP Constable Hans Ouellette said police are actively investigating to identify other potential victims.
Another court appearance for Nickerson has been scheduled for February 2nd.
