Former Saint John Police Chief Charlie Breen has died at the age of 83.
He retired as Police Chief in 1988 and also was known for his athletic prowess having played fastball for the Saint John Alpines and was inducted into the Saint John Sports Hall of Fame.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held today starting at noon hour in the Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Paradise Row.
