Former premier Brian Gallant has accepted a job with Ryerson University in Toronto.
The Liberal MLA announced on social media he will be a special advisor to the university president on innovation, cybersecurity, and law.
Gallant says he will be helping Ryerson University build a new law school.
He noted how he will be updating the province’s integrity commissioner.
Any jobs outside of being an MLA must be disclosed to that office.
Although he will not be running again in the next provincial election, Gallant adds he will be staying on to fulfill his duties as MLA for Shediac Bay-Dieppe.
