David Alward was back in New Brunswick in his new role as Canada’s Consul General to New England.
At a conference in Saint John, he spoke about the very important business relationship between Canada and the U.S.

He says about 9 million jobs in the United States depend directly on trade and investment with Canada.
Alward says last year Canada/U.S. bilateral trade exceeded 635 billion dollars representing almost two billion dollars worth of goods and services crossing the border every day..
