Canada is stepping up to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey in the Lone Star State.
A Hercules aircraft from 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario left last (SUNDAY) night for Lackland Air Force Base in Texas carrying humanitarian supplies from the Government of Canada to help out in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The Government of Canada offered to provide help and the U.S. government accepted this offer throught FEMA, its Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Relief supplies on this flight include baby formula, blankets, cribs, and more.
Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan says Canada and the U.S. are there for each other in times of crisis.
In a statement, Sajjan says the Canadian Armed Forces will keep working with other departments within our government and with our partners at FEMA to provide aid as our American friends and neighbours recover from the horrors of Hurricane Harvey.
