A Fredericton man accused of trying to kidnap a 19-year-old Moncton woman, is now facing additional charges.
25-year-old Hyper James A’Hern appeared in court yesterday afternoon.
Five new charges were laid, including uttering a threat to cause the death of the woman’s family, unlawfully pointing a firearm, and criminal harassment.
A’Hern was arrested at Centennial Park last week after reports that a 19-year-old woman was forced to go with him against her will.
