Free transit in Saint John on Wednesday

You will be able to ride the bus for free all day Wednesday in Saint John.

It is one of the initiatives the city is undertaking as part of national Clean Air Day.

The day encourages Canadians to take action to protect the air they breathe.

Saint John is one of 50 cities across Canada participating, according to a city news release.

You will also get to check out one of the city’s electric buses in King’s Square between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m.

Officials from the city, NB Lung and Saint John Energy will also provide remarks on how Saint John is going green, and how residents can help improve air quality and protect public health.
