Friday Deadline For Conservative Leadership Ballots

Friday is the deadline for federal Conservative members to vote for their next leader.

All ballots are due to be received by the party before 6 p.m. Atlantic Time.

Four people are running for the leadership: Leslyn Lewis, Peter MacKay, Erin O’Toole and Derek Sloan.

The party will process and count the ballots over the weekend before formally announcing the winner Sunday evening.

Outgoing Conservative leader Andrew Scheer announced in December that he would be resigning.
