Friday Morning Sports for June 13th

In the NBA final, it was another blowout as San Antonio beats up on Miami 107-86 to take a three games to one lead. No team has ever come back from being down 3 games to 1 in the championship final.

At the World Cup, Brazil defeated Croatia in the opener 3-1.

In the Majors, Mark Buehrle lost his second straight as the Jays go down to Baltimore 4-2…..The Red Sox get a strong pitching performance from Jon Lester and a two run homer by David Ortiz for a 5-2 win over Cleveland……Derek Jeter had three hits and drove in two runs as the Yankees double up on Seattle 6-3.

In the River Valley Oldtimers League, the Molson Merchants blanked the Browns Flat Alpines 8-0 and it was Exit Realty over the Home Hardware Kings 5-2.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and two other NFL players will not face charges in an incident involving a woman at a downtown Miami hotel in April.
