Former Sea Dog Charlie Coyle scoring as the U-S rallied for a 3-1 victory over Switzerland to earn a semifinal matchup against Russia tomorrow.
In the Majors, the Yankees were swept by Tampa Bay as the Rays win 6-1….Houston rallied for a 6-4 win over the Blue Jays…..Brock Holt doubled and scored the go-ahead run on Rickie Weeks’ error with one out in the ninth inning as the Red Sox got by Seattle 2-1 for their fourth win in five games.
In the National League, the Chicago Cubs rallied from a 5-1 deficit to edge the New York Mets 6-5 and Colorado scored 3 in the 9th for a 5-4 win over the Dodgers.
