In the NFL, it was Seattle 22 Arizona 16 as Russell Wilson threw two touchdown passes to Jimmy Graham for the Seahawks who lost cornerback Richard Sherman for the season after he ruptured his Achilles tendon.

The New England have claimed veteran tight end Martellus Bennett off waivers from the Green Bay Packers.

The emergency injunction request by the NFL Players Association on behalf of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been denied by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals which means Elliott’s six-game suspension is back on.
