In the “Q”, the Saint John Sea Dogs lost to Charlottetown in overtime 2-1. Joe Veleno scored the lone Saint John goal.

In the NFL, Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers converted three turnovers into scores in a 35-14 win over Chicago.

In the Majors, Houston had 17 hits in a 12-2 win over the Boston Red Sox……Their magic number for clinching the American League East is down to one after the New York Yankees lost to Tampa Bay 9-6. Aaron Judge hit his 51st homer of the season for New York. In other play, it was Cleveland 5 Minnesota 2…..Milwaukee 4 Cincinnati 3….Washington 5 Pittsburgh 4…..Miami 7 Atlanta 1…..Chicago Cubs 2 St. Louis 1 (11 innings)….Oakland 4 Texas 1…..Chicago White Sox 5 Los Angeles Angels 4 and Detroit 4 Kansas City 1.

The Harbour View High girls softball team is in first place in the Southern Division after a 12-2 win over St. Stephen.
