Future Of Saint John Looking Bright

The future of Saint John looking a lot brighter.

Jessica Delong of Saint John Energy says 7,000 street lights will be converted to LED before the end of this year.

Delong says the LED lights will last up to 20 years, which will decrease maintenance time.

She says the LED lights also reduce light pollution. Objects appear clearer and more defined and are smaller, brighter and are energy efficient.

Delong says the project will cost $3.8 million dollars.
