Premier Brian Gallant has taken on another new role as the regional minister for Saint John and southwest New Brunswick and is aiming to be at his new Saint John office on Charlotte Street in uptown Saint John about once a week on average.
He says he’s probalbly doing that already but they’ll be doing that in a more formal way and trying to have some meetings in his new office with community leaders and build up the relationship as the Regional Minister for Saint John and Southwest NB.
Gallant tells us they’re going to ensure that he’s here as much as possible and they want hear from people about the challenges and opportunities that they are facing and says he looks forward to having the opportunity to work with mayors, councillors, economic development, business leaders and others in the region.
