Gas And Diesel Prices Up Again In N.B.

New Brunswick drivers will once again be paying more to fill up their vehicle’s fuel tank this week.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve in the province is $1.477 per litre.

That is an increase of 2.7 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Diesel prices climbed by 2.9 cents to a new maximum of $1.55 per litre, though most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

This time last year, the maximum price for regular self-serve was 99.8 cents per litre while the most you would pay for diesel was $1.003 per litre.

Meanwhile, furnace oil prices climbed by three cents this week to a new maximum price of $1.373 per litre.

Propane prices are also up by around three cents to a new maximum of $1.306.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
