Gas, Diesel Prices Fall By Several Cents

New Brunswick drivers will save a bit of money when filling up their vehicle’s fuel tank.

Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum of $1.365 per litre across the province.

That is a drop of 4.1 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Diesel prices are also down by 2.9 cents to a new maximum price of $1.335 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

This time last year, regular self-serve and diesel were selling for a maximum of just over $1 a litre.

Meanwhile, the price of furnace oil is down by 2.7 cents to a maximum of $1.154 per litre.

Propane prices have climbed by two-and-a-half cents to $1.18 per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
