Gas Prices Drop, Diesel Prices Climb

Gas prices are down slightly and diesel prices are up across New Brunswick.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is just over $2.19 per litre.

That is down by 0.4 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Diesel prices jumped by nearly five cents to a new maximum of just over $2.32 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Furnace oil prices are also up by almost five cents to a new maximum of nearly $2.11 per litre.

Propane is selling for a maximum of around $1.25 per litre, a drop of three-tenths of a cent.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
