Gas and diesel prices are expected to be heading in different directions, according to an industry source.
Regular self-serve gasoline is expected to rise by less than a cent per litre, while diesel is expected to fall by around four cents Thursday night.
Maximum prices in the province currently range from $1.46 for regular self-serve and $1.56 for diesel.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.45 to $1.49 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.53 and $1.57 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.51 per litre, diesel costs around $1.63 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.21 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
