Some New Brunswick motorists are paying more to fill up their fuel tanks on Friday.
The maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline climbed 3.5 cents overnight.
The most you will now pay is $1.89 per litre — the highest price in several months.
Diesel prices fell three-tenths of a cent to a maximum of $2.00 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
Similar increases were recorded in Nova Scotia, where regular self-serve now ranges from $1.88 to $1.92 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.95 and $2.00 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.88 per litre, while diesel costs around $1.99 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
