Georgie’s Pet Pantry

I saw a friend of mine post this to her Facebook page and reached out to her right away. This is AMAZING! Mary Lou Cormier-Adams and her husband Shawn, thank you!

‘Take what you need, leave what you can’

This pantry exists to help community members feed their beloved pets during tough times Please keep it tidy and only take what you need to ensure there is enough for everyone.

No pet should go hungry . Our mission is to support our neighbours and their furry companions This is a community run proiect . Partake at your own risk. Having said that, everything is new and not damaged. The bulk dog and cat food is vacuum-sealed personally by myself including a description and expiration dates .

There are also poop bags, toys ,treats, dog collars, water and disposable bowls if you’re just walking by and need a drink for yourself or your dog.

We hope this is successful and makes a difference! We are located on the corner of 162 Belmont Street and Park Av. The pantry is bolted on the fence on the Park Av side with a drop of bin for donations underneath it. We just ask for sealed products with the food. This is accessible 24 hours so if you don’t feel comfortable in the daytime, come at night! No shame, no judqrment zone!

If anyone is interested donating you can contact myself at maryloucormier150@gmail.com to make arrangements for drop off or pick up.

  • Krista has worked for Country 94 since Jan 2015 and is currently your host for the LIVE ON THE DRIVE with Krista, Monday through Friday 3-6 pm. What does Krista love about country music? EVERYTHING! She loves interviewing artists like Dean Brody, Tim Hicks, Lindsay Ell, going to concerts and dancing in the control booth on King St.

If you ask Krista her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE thing, though, about country radio, the answer is the connection with you, the listener. The friendships made over the years with our listeners is second to none.
