A girl in her twenties suffered a concussion and some scratches to her hands after being struck by a car on the East Side around 6p.m. yesterday.
She was was walking up Retail Drive by Costco when a car lost control and hit her. She was taken to hospital but later released. That accident is under investigation.
Two vehicles also collided at the corner of Bayside Drive and the Causeway – there were no injuries, but some on the ground needed to be cleaned up.
