Girls Are Bullied More Than Boys

The bullying of girls spikes in high school and they have it worse than boys.

According to the World Health Organisation, 43 per cent of 13-year-old girls reported being bullied in the previous couple of months compared to 33 per cent of boys.

Stats Canada reports among those aged 15 to 17, girls were less likely than boys to have said their mental health was “very good” or “excellent.”

Girls aged 12 to 17 were more likely than boys to report high levels of daily stress as well as having been diagnosed with a mood disorder.
