The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield has brought in its operating budget for 2020.
Town officials say the tax rate will remain at $1.37 per $100 of assessed value – the same amount it has been since 2007.
The cost of policing services from the RCMP is going up nearly $19,000 to just under $704,000.
The annual sewerage user fee will remain at $270 per unit with a residential discount of $15 if paid by April 1. The rate has remained constant since 2006.
