Grief Centre Partners With Local Funeral Home

Families dealing with loss in Greater Saint John will now receive even more support during their time of need.

The Compassionate Grief Centre has partnered with Fundy Funeral Home to provide support to their clients.

Jamie Godfrey, CEO of the Rothesay-based grief centre, said their professional counsellors will help people find hope in the darkness of grief and loss.

“Our professional counsellors are grief, loss and trauma specialists. They are extremely kind and caring professionals who will be here when others need it the most,” Godfrey said in a news release.

The new partnership is also being welcomed by Paul Daigle, the managing director of Fundy Funeral Home.

‘We are so pleased to have partnered with Compassionate Grief Centre as an extension of our service to help families in need of professional grief support,” Daigle said.

Founded in 2020, the Compassionate Grief Centre also offers private counselling, grief support groups, and a Compassionate Neighbours Program.
