Larry Hachey has been appointed the chair of the University of New Brunswick’s Board of Governors for a two-year term.
Hachey is President of Bluechip Leasing Atlantic and has served on UNB’s Board of Governors since 2011, most recently as vice-chair.
The native of Quispamsis replaces Brian Baxter, chairman, and CEO of Botsford Investment Inc. in Moncton.
Baxter says after working with Hachey for the past two years, he admires his tremendous work ethic and dedication to UNB.
Robyn Tingley, who has served on the board since 2015, has been appointed vice chair for a two-year term.
Tingley is a Rothesay-based author, social entrepreneur and advisor to companies across North America.
