A retired Oromocto couple have won half a million dollars on the Daily Grand.
Charlotte and Carol Michaud are the second-prize winners of the game and they opted to take a 500-thousand-dollar lump sum instead of getting 25-thousand-dollars a year.

The ticket was purchased at the Oromocto Lotto Booth and the draw was on May 14.
The couple want to be smart with their winnings and aren’t making any plans until they meet with their financial planner.
