Hampton’s Jeff Smith is one win away from being a World Champion.
The 40 year-old defeated Richard Veenstra of the Netherlands six sets to five in the semi-finals of the British Dart Organisation’s World Championships.
Smith almost threw a perfect nine dart game in the final leg of the match after back to back scores of 180.
He finished with a 10-darter and will meet England’s Scott Waites in Sunday’s final.
