Harbour Bridge fully open to traffic

Drivers in Saint John got an early Christmas present this morning as the Harbour Bridge fully reopened.

There was no fanfare as the signs came down and all four lanes reopened.

No more long-term lane closures are expected for the rest of the project.

Next year it’s expected work will move to the two ramps connecting the bridge to Chesley Drive.

The rehabilitation project is currently planned to be completed sometime in 2028.
