The hash was hidden in chocolate bars but the police still found it.
Back in May, Canada Border Services and the RCMP seized 200 kilograms of hash at the Port of Halifax.
Officers in Halifax saw something that didn’t look quite right in X-ray images while examining a marine container.

The shipment was declared as chocolate from the Netherlands. After a closer look, the officers found and seized 100 chocolate bars containing two kilograms of hidden hash.
On June 23rd, 51 year old Owen Jagasar was arrested in Mississauga and charged with importing a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking and more.
The goods were headed for Ontario.
