The Human Development Council has worked for decades to address social issues like homelessness, poverty, and food insecurity in Saint John. Moving into 2015, Executive Director Randy Hatfield tells CHSJ News they hope to engage more with youth.
He says we need a lot more people getting involved- and he’d like to see a brigade of young people, especially millenials, being fairly renumerated for their work making Saint John a better place to live.
Hatfield says Saint John is blessed with talented young people who are just waiting to be shown how to use their skills.
