Grand Manan residents are seeing a significant amount of police activity on Wednesday afternoon.
New Brunswick RCMP say the heavy police presence is due to an investigation on the island.
The police force posted a public notice to its social media accounts around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
No details have been released but police said there is no risk to the public.
