We could be in for lots of rain and wind throughout New Brunswick on Wednesday night.
Environment Canada has issued a slew of warnings and advisories ahead of the system.
“Very strong southerly winds will develop late Wednesday in advance of a vigorous cold front,” said the statement.
“The passage of this front will also bring intense rain in a fairly short period of time.”
There is a rainfall warning along the Bay of Fundy, including Saint John and County, Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County, and Fundy National Park.
Areas under the warning can expect up to 50 millimetres of rain by the time it ends Thursday morning.
The rest of the province is under a special weather statement, with between 25 and 50 millimetres of rain in the forecast.
Winds are also expected to be an issue, with gusts to around 80 kilometres per hour expected for much of the provinces.
Those gusts could reach 90 kilometres per hour in coastal Charlotte County, including Grand Manan, and 100 kilometres per hour on the Acadian Peninsula.
