Provincial Conservative Leader Blaine Higgs says the Premier must resign for covering up his involvement in the property tax assessment scandal.

Higgs says it was Brian Gallant’s decision to fast-track it and he needed to take ownership of it adding if he had done that a month ago we might have said okay you messed up but Higgs says he tried to hide it, deflect it and blame others.
Higgs goes on to say the Premier has caused an enormous amount of stress and worry throughout the civil service.
The Opposition leader says the Premier has threatened the livelihoods of these people adding but now we know that he gave the order which set off this entire chain of events.
