The St George RCMP are investigating a fatal pedestrian motor vehicle collision that occurred on Route 172 near Back Bay.
The collision happened on Friday morning.
A 20-year-old man from Utopia was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the man was struck by the vehicle around 4 am.
An investigation into the suspected hit and run is ongoing.
