Applications are now available for the 2019 Home Energy Assistance Program.
It provides a $100 benefit to help low-income families cope with high energy prices.
There are specific criteria including a total family income of 30 thousand dollars or less last year.

Last year almost 44 thousand applications were approved by the provincial government for a total of over four million dollars.
Applications can be found online or at Service New Brunswick centres.
The deadline to apply is June 30th.
