Homicide Victim Remembered As Bright Student

A Sussex-area teen is being remembered as a bright student with a kind heart and contagious smile.

Michael Tristan Kraszewski was found dead in a home on Orchard Court in Picadilly on the evening of Dec. 18.

The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit initially called the 16-year-old’s death suspicious but later said they are investigating it as a homicide.

Kraszewski’s obituary said he loved spending time with his friends and playing video games.

All arrangements are being held privately and the family is asking for privacy.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help pay for the teen’s funeral.

Police have not released any more details about the Kraszewski’s death.

They have asked anyone who may have witnessed anyone coming or going from the home on the evening of Dec. 18 to contact them.
