Country 94 and the Wave’s “Love Your Hospital” radiothon for the Regional Hospital Foundation turning out to be a huge success with over 200 thousand dollars being raised.
Jason Downey, who chairs the Foundation, calls the day very emotional as he listened to stories from people who have been treated at the Regional Hospital and the care they have received.
The money raised will go to this year’s Give campaign and be used to help buy new hospital equipment as well as on mental health and health education.
