April housing sales in Saint John were not as robust as they had been according to realtor Dave Cochrane of Remax.
Housing sales from January until the end of April are up about 9 per cent from the same period last year.
Cochrane tells us sales of homes $200 thousand and higher have almost doubled compared to a year ago.
The average price of a home in the Saint John area has gone up to more than $187 thousand.
Cochrane reports housing sales in the K-V was up by about 6 per cent from a year ago. Sales were also up on the west side but down out east, in the north end and Millidgeville.
