Saint John police are investigating after human remains were found over the weekend.
Police say a hiker discovered a body in the Martinon area just after 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The body, according to police, is believed to be that of a female.
“An autopsy is being conducted to help identify the remains,” police said in a news release Monday afternoon.
No other details have been released.
