The Humboldt Broncos tragedy has claimed another victim.
According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority 24-year-old Dayna Brons, the athletic therapist for the hockey team has died from her injuries.
“Dayna passed away peacefully this afternoon as a result of her injuries. She was surrounded by those she loved and those who loved her,” the authority statement issued on behalf of her family reads.
This now brings the total who have perished from last Friday nights collision of the team bus and a tractor-trailer to 16.
There were 29 people on board the bus which was on its way to a playoff game.
