Hurricane Arthur Arrives

Hurricane Arthur has officially arrived bringing up to 110 millimetres of rain total and wind gusts that could reach up to 90 kilometres an hour.

Environment Canada Meteologist Claude Cote telling us not to underestimate the intensity of the weather event which has prompted wind, rain and tropical storm warnings for the province. He says by tonight, many communities will have reached the normal rainfall amount for the entire month of July.

The storm is tracking along the south shore of the Bay of Fundy and Cote says all rain should be over by about 9pm tonight.
